School Football Team - Finals Week
Many of you may already know, but for those that don’t, our school football team this year has gone from strength to strength this year and has been setting the bar high for our competition. Having won all 7 of our league games we comfortably won our league, and we have also made it to not one, but TWO cup finals. These finals are due to take place next week and will be played at Elliott Road – Harris Academy playing fields. I’d like to extend an invite to anyone who would like to come and support the team and details of the two matches are below. There is a small entrance fee which goes to the league to cover costs involved in running the league and it is £3/adult and £1/concession. This must be paid in cash as they do not have any card facilities.

My thanks go out to all the parents of the players this year, the support they have shown week after week ensuring they can transport their child to/from the games and cheer them on from the side lines, no matter the weather, has meant a lot to me and I know it is appreciated by the team as well. A particular thank you goes to Graeme Stephen who has been helping me coach the team and has brought a wealth of experience with him from Dundee West.
Finally, my deepest thanks go out to all the players in this year’s squad, they have been exceptional and all the hard work that they have put in had more than paid off. We will miss the Primary 7’s as they go off to high school after the Summer but look forward to organising team trials for the first few weeks back for our new P6’s and 7’s.
