Primary 7 Information

Dear P7 Parents,

Yesterday the class applied their measure skills to calculate how many laps of the MUGA and outdoor playground are equal to one mile.  They are very keen to do the Daily Mile, where a class spends around 10 minutes a day outside running (or walking) a mile. This has proven mental health and social benefits as well as providing an opportunity for the children to develop their fitness.  The children have been told that if they like they can bring a pair of sports shoes to school to change into for Daily Mile.  However, this is not compulsory!

Also, as part of their contribution to our 1970s topic plan, the class have suggested making dioramas of houses which they will decorate in colours and patterns popular at the time.  For next Wednesday it would be very helpful if the children could bring in some cardboard and other small bits of junk for this.
